SUPERBOWL SUNDAY..!!!

Today 7th February marks the annual championship game of the National Football League (NFL) .NFL is the highest level of professional American football in United States. The game was created as a result of agreement between NFL and American Football League (AFL). The two were merged in 1970. Super Bowl Sunday is considered national holiday by most fans. It is the second-largest day for food consumption in the U.S. after Thanksgiving Day. The Super Bowl is also one of the most watched American broadcasts attracting more than a hundred million viewers.

Today the  NFL is going gold for the 50th anniversary of the the Super Bowl where Cam Newton and the Carolina Panthers will face Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos in a battle for the Lombardi Trophy.
The game will be held at Levi Stadium, the new home of the San Fransisco 49ers.
Its a shame we in the UK only get to see it around 11.30pm at night, but I'll sure be tuning in tonigh. Hope you're watching too?
